Voting Instructions

for 2020 Primary Election in Oldham County, KY 

THREE WAYS TO VOTE:

1. Absentee

2. Vote early in person

3. In person on election day

 

1. ABSENTEE. Available “Now” until June 15

Absentee ballot will be mailed to you. Request the ballot online, by phone, or via email.

To obtain ballot online, go to https://vrsws.sos.ky.gov/abrweb/.

If computer is not available, request the Application for a Ballot at the County Clerks office by

calling 502-222-0047or sending an email to Julie.Barr@KY.gov

The Ballot will be mailed to you

You can return it by mail (it must be postmarked Jun 23)... 

... or go to one of the three Clerk’s offices and place in a secured drop box.

(You must wear a mask and show drivers’ license.)

NOTE: The offices of the Oldham County Clerk will be closed for non-election related business from June 15 - 26 to handle the unprecedented number of absentee ballots

2. VOTE EARLY IN PERSON

You must have an appointment at the County Clerk’s office in La Grange only.

The office is at 100 W Jefferson Street in LaGrange, across the street from the courthouse.

You must wear a mask and present your drivers’ license.

Dates available for early voting are June 8 – 13; June 15 – 20; June 22

La Grange County Clerk’s office hours --

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.

3. VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY

June 23, 2020

Time: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Place: Oldham County High School – 1150 N. Hwy. 393 in Buckner

Must wear mask and present drivers’ license.

This sample ballot shows all the candidates from both parties plus the Special Election.  Voters will only be able to vote in the Primary from the party they are registered. However, all voters including Independents can vote in the Special Election between Ferko and Berg. 

Don't forget to elect the Republican Nominee, Bill Ferko, to fill the candidate vacancy in the Senate District 26.
